A second series of protests against Sarawak Chief Minister Taib Mahmud’s massive corruption has been launched today in Sydney, Australia. The protest rally took place in front of the Valentine on George boutique hotel in Central Sydney, which is controlled by Onn Mahmud, brother of the Sarawak Chief Minister Taib Mahmud.
The event was organized by Rainforest Information Centre. Retiring Greens MP Ian Cohen held a short speech on the devastating destruction of the rainforest in Borneo and the blatant corruption by the Taib family.
